I have a 2003 929 with the 225 Opti.  Only change I would want the Pro XS 225 or 250.

Love the room, I'm a big guy @ 6 3.5 and 265lbs it hauls me and all my chit around great.  It is not the fastest ride out there but I like how it handles and love fishing out of it.

 ~fff I'm also looking into purchasing a new Nitro Z9 . I love the lay out, and the new design. Not to meantion my local dealer has discounted the price on them big time, tring to sell them.  ~read

At present, I have a 1999, Blazer202, with a 225 Yamaha. I love the way it runs, and handles. At 10 yrs old, and alot of miles on the water, and on the trailer, I'm thinking about upgrading.

Tight Lines everyone;

GREAT price on that 929.  Nitro's 9 series are very nice boats.  As mentioned, you won't set any speed records, but the layout and fishability is tough to beat.  I have the smaller version 901 and love it.  HUGE front deck and handles the rough stuff well.  I fish on Lake of the Ozarks and it gets nasty there.  good luck.  I would jusmp all over that boat for that price.
