Water is rising, almost 6 feet from last week which is good for us Bass fishermen but who in the heck left the freezer door open  ~b~ All this winter weater advisories and shtuff in Spring need to go!!! If we can get into the 60's in the next week or two it should start getting good, lets just hope they don't drop the water before then  :P

It looks like mid to low 50's starting tomorrow. With some bright sun things could start to pick up sooner than we think.  Looks like a warming trend towards the end of the week on the 7 day forecast so who knows next sun and mon might be in the 60's.  Next sun is April 5th and I believe the first ABA is April 13th or around there and we got snow today!!

Went out this afternoon despite the cold windy conditions and struck out 3 times. First we tried to hook up on some walleye and blanked, then we tried a few spring time northern spots and zeroed and then we hit the shallow sun beaten banks in the hopes that a bass might be interested in tugging on our lines but came up with nothing there either  :'( The water levels look good but this cold weather and muddy water have got to go!!!! Hopefully things will turn around by next weekend  ~sun

I'm down.  I think there is a power plant lake just east of us as well.

speaking of road trip.  I'm trading a guy a bassfishing trip on the river this summer for a guided duckhunt in ND.  Should be a good time.  i'm pretty excited about it  ;D
