Quantum Energy Burner Baitcaster

I just bought one of the quantum energy baitcaster burner 7.0-1 ratio very nice reel. It has me impressed with its smoothness and how far it casts. I was just wondering if anyone else has one of these reels and what they think of them or if they have and any issues?    THanks, Justin

I have played with them some and they are nice. Haven't heard of any complaints

yes i have one i love it one of the best reels i have ever had>>>> but on to the dissapointing partalmost everytime i use it i need to tear it down and re lube it i use the the recomended quantum lube it just seems to burn off way to fast and if i dont i have a horrible screeching sound like porclin rubbing or such..... otherwise an amazing reel

Nice reels as long as you keep them clean and lubed, Ive been using them on my tournament series now for three years and no complaints,other than the size, Ive got really small hands and can't palm them, but the new one's are smaller but can't see starting over at $200.oo a pop.

I bought one of the Energy 7:1 insore series last year and it is my favorite reel. I have a few Shimano Cronarchs and Citicas which I like for the size but nothing else I have cast as nice and is as smooth. I havent had the problem with the greasing yet but I still grease them pretty regularly.

I've got one and don't really care for it.  I use it for flipping and piching most of the time, because after only about a month or so of use when I casted it hard it would make a screaming noise.  Like someone else said, if you lube it every trip it will probably be a great reel.  It was very smooth and casted fairly well.
