winter fishing out of your boat

Tip..
When winter fishing out of your boat,
After pulling out of the water, alway make sure to lower your motor(Lower unit) all the way down and let your motor completely drain before putting your motor support on. Pull all the drain plugs on the boat including the livewells. Keep your battery on a trickle charge so it don't freeze  ;)
This my friends is the only winterizing a guy needs to do.

Where a life jacket, heavy clothes are hard to swim in and the water temps are so cold you don't have but a few minutes before hypothermia sets in. ~bb

Good tip...not near as expensive as frozen water...

I suggest you take an extra pair of clothes and shoes and put them in your boat or your toe vehicle.   Hopefully you never need them but if you do.   You will be thankful you have them.

Good add there Blake, I do that but forgot to add it. Never know when you'll need more warm clothes  ;D better to have too many clothes than none
