Like many people (well, I couldn't be the only one  lo) have done I ran my boat thru water that was way to thin.  ~xyz I noticed there was nothing coming out as there should have been. I cut my fishin trip short and went home.  :'( After searching and searching for a solution I came upon what I think should maybe be shared with ya'll. I had heard about using wire coat hangers, and even pipe cleaners. Here is what I diid. I took a length of .080 weed whacker line and ran it up the discharge hole. After only a few tries all was well.  :) I figure metal coat hanger wire could pierce the rubber hosing and, pipe cleaners are way too short. The weed whacker line is very bendable and the diameter filts my Merc 50. The piece can be any length you chose. Well, maybe I am not the first to think of this but... I am submitting it for your Pleasure or laugher...  ~beer~
Granpaw told me the number of days a man spends fishing is not subtracted from his life.

I was at the dealer here in town last week and a person came in with the same thing you had and the dealer told him to use the same thing! He said it is easier on the system and easy to store. Now I got a piece on my boat for that reason too.  ;)

An once of prevention man.   Better to have it and never need it than to need it and not have it.
