Have you ever found yourself visiting the inlaws out of state for a week? Have you ever been sent away for job related training? How about a vacation and the women folks leave for a day of site seeing and shopping? I urge all UB members to post a little info if interested. It would be a good chance for someone to turn a boring trip into a good fishing trip. Ex- I'm in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Alot of business send their employees here for training of some sorts. After training, the afternoons are usually spent in a hotel room. If ya'll get close, give me a call. I have a seperate post with my info. If we get enough people offering, this should work out.

Hey Beagle thats a heck of an idea you got . when we go vacationing my son and i almost always find a place to fish he he and the wife lets us . I'm in California and am out all the time when not working or honey dos . I'll add my info on my profile to.  Good fishing to all .....chirp chirp

I live in Bossier, and if you ever need a partner let me know.  I'm pretty new at this and would love to have someone teach me how to actually fish.

I'd pay for whatever gas, snacks,  , etc. that we needed for a day out.

Great Idea !
I just spent 2 weeks in San Antonio (in Aug ), mostly in the hotel room watch boring day time TV, while my wife was attending seminars.

Perhaps we need a forum group "Fishing Buddy" by state. Those that are willing to meet new people could put their info in. We could then plan boring out-of-town times a little better, bring rod 'n tackle, make a friend  and tell some lies....

I'm retired, close to WPAFB, Dayton, Ohio, know nothing about fishing here, but do have a boat. If you're in the area eMail me and I'll see if the admiral lets me go out.
