I keep a package of Windex wipes in my truck and boat to clean my lenses.  Being moist and soft they won't scratch your glasses and they are streak free.  Works great for removing tear splatters caused by running 70mph down the lake or when you loose that 8 pounder at the side of the boat.

I would dip them in the water first to remove any loose dirt/dust to further reduce the chance of scratches.
