Early Start for 2010

Due to mild temps Maine has experienced a very early ice out and the Governor signed an emergency bill opening the season a week early this past Thursday.

Also, beginning in 2010, there will no longer be a closed fishing season. If there is open water, you are allowed to fish! Of course some bodies of water will still be under certain restrictions so always check your law books before casting that line!
