coldfront

Water temps:  64°F - 65°F
Wind:  SSE 20-30 mph
Water clarity:  good...about 2 feet
Weather:  cloudy, pre-frontal

Got the chance to get out today...sunrise was around 7:30AM...got on water about 8:00...started out cranking a Bomber Square A...managed two (about 14" each), had another couple spit the hook.  Switched to a buzzbait and started throwing on windblown flats/shoreline and started picking up fish regularly.  Finished the day somewhere north of 20 fish I think...biggest might have gone 16, smallest 10...most fish shallow on wood...

Favorite strike of the day:  buzzing the bait back over a laydown had a fish come completely out of the water on the strike...naturally, it missed...but looked like a salmon jumping the falls...really cool!

Tried spinnerbaits, traps, deeper cranks to no avail.  Wind was really blowing so I didn't try to slow down and toss jig/chunk or slower baits...just kept moving.

Had the lake all to myself.  Getting to the end of the year in these parts...if I'm lucky, I'll have about another 30 days...
