Its not a poison tail, it just has a twin SS wire guard.

Actually Terminator was doing that jig before Karl got into the jig buisness. Now the differance is terminator is a single strand where Karl's is a twisted double strand. Karl's way of improving but not the originator of the metal V'd weed guard. The twisted wire guard has been around for a long time also but only as a single.

Huh...I've never seen one before. Just the fiber gaurds. I've seen metal ones that hook under the barb but not V like this.

I haven't seen it all but I've seen a lot. Ever see the plastic V weed guards? Actually V metal weed guards were on the snagless sally many years ago as well as several other inline type weedless spinners. Karl did a good thing twisting two together and V'ing them. As I've never been a big fan of metal weed guards but Karls was definatley an improvement over waht had been out there before.
