I've got an old Eagle 128 on my Tracker that is showing its age in comparison to new units, that I would like to replace. I am looking at the Eagle 242, and it looks like it would be just the ticket, but I've got a question about the wiring. Since I am staying eagle, and these units are from the same series, would I be able to use the same transducer and wiring setup (could I basically plug the new unit in and be done?). or will I need to install the new transducer, and run the line the length of my boat? Thanks

I would pick up a display new unit at the local dealer and look at the plugs, if it has the same plugs you should be good. Eagle has a self help line on their web site at eagle.com. If you post your question you will get a factory reply in 24 hours.

Would those 2 units be the Eagle Cuda 128 & Cuda 242? If so, according to LEI website they are the same transducers and cables. Here is the link: http://www.lei-extras.com/store/productfamilies.asp?Family=Eagle Just pick the units you have and it will show you the parts. Then go to the other unit and compare the part numbers.
