Fished today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Water level is good and water clarity is good (for Cypress).  Water temps ranged from 65 to 66 degrees.  The wind was pretty tough and the cloud cover made it quite chilly on the water.  Only caught 8 sac-a-lait and 2 bass.  One of the bass and one of the sac-a-lait came on a chartreuse/blue/white spinnerbait (3/8 oz.) and the rest came on a white beetlespin.  All of the fish came in less than 3 feet of water.  Caught 6 of the 8 sac-a-lait in 2 spots.  I think the water temp still needs to warm up a few degrees.

Not many boats on the water today.

I hit the lake this morning from 0615 till 1030 and boated 4 bass but couldn't find any crappie. I did boat a 8LB 12OZ around 0900 tho. I caught her in about 2 foot of water on a worm. Had a good day size wise!

Mike, Mitchell just jacked your thread man, Mitchell, did you get some pics to post? Do I get to add you to the UB/BassLife Hall of Fame in the La. Chat area? Please tell me you registered it.

Mike Noble

Beagle...Cypress is not in the BassLife program.

And without pictures...there is no proof.

Sorry Mitch...you caught that fish a few days TOO early.  lo

I didn't. How/where do you do that? I do have a pic but not sure how to post it. It was 24'' long and 18'' around with a mouth that my fist would fit into easyly! I bought it to work to show my partner so he believe me.

I would have loaded up, went to Cross, launched, and motored around to the police station and got the thing registered. Could have gotten a nice fiberglass replica for half off. :-*

Mike is right again. It's not one of the replica lakes. It is one of the release lakes for the BassLife restocking program.

Well, I might have been wrong a couple of times...if you listen to what my ex-wives say.  ~roflmao
