Toledo Bend 3/30/08

Went to the mighty Bend today,Weather Man predicting scattered showers.It was scattered between the storms.Caught a few fish though.Not much of a pattern,few on spinners,few on plastics,& a few on a jig.Most were small but Earl hung a good 5 or 6,got it to the boat and it pulled off as he tried ti lift it in.Launched about 7:00,left at 12:00 after probably 3" of rain.It beat sitting at home staring out the window though.

Chip we only saw a couple boats,was raining so hard most of yhe time couldn't tell who they were.Also had Top Six Tournament going on this weekend.Didn't see many of them either.

      BTW how is your son hope all is well with him .

Bummer with all that rain..Shawn must be in the area...sorry Shawn 

Marcus is good Don. Last I heard from him anyway It has been a week before easter since he called home. I'm sure he is ready to cat fish. Not sure how long he will be a Ft Polk when he leaves Iraq. Might be getting stationed somewhere else.
If I ever get back down there, I'll give you a call and have lunch.
