Sweet Key Chain!

I've heard someone tell me that tons of times. All it is, is an old lure that has done it's job and is past it's prime. Just take the hooks off that lure you want to "retire", put an over-sized split ring on the rear hook eye, and put it on you're key ring! It doesn't even have to be an old lure. I found a real cool looking cheap one that didn't look very effective and stuck it on one of my key rings. You can stick a popper on one key, or a walking topwater bait on a few keys and they'll float if they fall in the water.
(I'd make sure in the sink before you take it to the lake though ;))

I have done the same thing with one of my baby torpedos I just couldn't bare to throw away!! Don't think I could do the rattle trap!!LOL
