I am sure most of us get plastic bags from convenience stores with our cold drinks in the morning or from the grocery stores after we go shopping. I keep a box of these in the garage to use for fishing trash. When I am working on retieing or putting new line on I just hook one on my boat tie downs and it hangs down so I can strip line right off into it or throw other trash into it. I also keep a few in my truck so when I am done fishing at the end of the day I can just grab one and jump up in the boat and put trash from my compartments into the bag. (I also use them for small trash cans in the house, beats paying for something I already get free.) So don't trash those plastic bags they can be reused.

I use them in the small trash cans in the laundry room and the bathrooms myself. I also don't see the need in buying trash bags for those kinds of things. It seems kind of wasteful to me. However I've also been accused of being a tight wad so maybe thats why I do these things. lo

I keep one in my cooler and usually one in the boat too.  Very handy to keep your boat and the lake clean.

I can't understand why some people out on the water insist on throwing their trash in the water. ~rant. I haven't seen any boat ramps around here that the state soesn't provide a trash can to. Its so easy to keep it on the boat (in your handy plastic bag) until you get back to the dock.

Here in NY we do have many places that are "carry in and carry out."  Locals and summer people abused the dumpsters and used them as their personal waste disposal.  Only takes one or two people to ruin it for all the rest.
