A good friend of mine went yesterday and caught 14 with 12 of them being keepers. Their biggest was around 3 lbs.

What was he using to catch that many. I caught mine on a black/blue/purple jig in brush tops off of the bank

Baby brush hawg texas rigged. We had a tournament a few weeks ago and did well. My partner and I caught around 15 on texas rigged brushhawgs and c-rigged lizards. With the warm weather we are going to have this week they should be on big time at Cotile.

For some reason i always have a little trouble catching lots of fish in cotile so any advice or tips would help

When you having trouble fish a wacky worm or a finess worm and you will boat more fish. Since the grass is still nor back like it use to be finding fish can be a little more difficult but when you fin a few stick to that area and work it slow you will pick more fish. Another good bait at this time of the year is a senko. Fish it up shallow but fish it slow. Also stick to june bug or watermelon red. Those two colors always do well on that lake.
