Hey all,

Sat. 19 Feb. Started at 27 degrees water was between 49 and 52 all day. The tide was at the bottom and rising throughout the day. The water level was way low. the only thing we could think of that caused this is, the wind a couple days ago blew it out.

All the Bass caught seemed to come off of tips of lay downs out in the middle of the creeks. didn't seem to matter if you were with or against the current. further back in the creeks were holding bass. Crank baits  seemed the best. Some on worms.

Fished from 630 ish to 4 pm. Winning weight was 12+ pounds 5 fish. Second was 3 fish 8.84 lbs (my partner) 3rd was 2 fish about five pounds.

I'll keep posting the season. Shearon Harris Resevoir is next but I have to miss that one.

Thanks Eric, sounds like with the tide out the fish were hanging on the deepest cover they could find, the edge of laydowns. Great post thanks. ~c~
