FLO GROWN

Went out to Lox this morning 7am to test out the repair on my hull and wanted to run the engine some seeing she was sitting for a few weeks so I ran the North canal I got a spot up there always holds fish no matter how much they are pumping and the North canal water looked bad and vegation floating in the middle but I got to my spot, started off throwing a toad had a couple small ones follow it but didn't take, switched to soft plastic swimbait same thing, than I tried a senko and got 10  in a row all about pound to pound and half, than ran all the way to the West canal picked up a few more on soft plastic swimbait, best one was 2.75 lbs.Storms started rolling in called it a day at noon Great to be back on my boat at Lox and repair job was done perfect.

Thanks for the report. That's what we experienced a couple weekends ago. The fish chasing the fast moving baits at the top of the water column but not striking. They were eating the bait down at the bottom though. Very slow fishing.

LoL.Thanks man, she inhaled it,pulled drag and bent the rod it was fun. I've spent alot time in North canal, even around twenty mile bend I bring extra gas for that ride,my boat can't handle the flats so I stay in the canals, been trying West canal lately.
