Keep Paper Towels?

Need paper towels for the boat or campsite?

1) Get 1 full roll of paper towels--LEAVE WRAPPER ON
2) Cut the entire roll in half (wrapper, towels, cardboard tube)
3) Remove cardboard tube from the middle
4) Pull paper towels from the middle, as needed
5) Some rolls will fit in a large plastic coffee can to keep them dry and uncrushed

For years I have removed the cardboard tube from the middle of a roll of toilet paper when I've had a cold and needed to blow my nose a lot. I call it my Redneck Tissue Dispenser.
