I would not recommend this if you are going to cook over your fire but if you need to stay warm or if you just want a fire and all the wood is wet this works.  Go find your bug spray, the pump kind and make sure it has a warning of Flammable, get some dry kindling paper towels worked great, take a good bit based on how wet the wood is and twist them up or form them into tight balls and put them on the bottom of the pile.  Find the driest wood, grass leaves you can and start building a teepee around the paper towels making the size of the wood bigger as you go.

Pour a good amount of the bug spray "we used Skin Tastic by OFF" and light it   ~bu  It didn't go up like gas does but started fast and burned hot enough to get some of the bigger pieces to burn and that heat dried out the rest of the wood we used.

So if you need a fire, the wood is wet and you have Flammable bug spray you can still make a dam nice fire.   :)
