Me too, just too much going on right now, I wish folks would spread the tourneys out.

Wish I could, but I can't burn the vacation without knowing if work is going to work around my TnT schedule. I'd really like to get out on Caddo, but I'm scared to put my boat out there. ~sweat

Unfortunatly I haven't been able to help it much. Hopefully that will change so I can make these payments a little easier.  ;D

Randy Deaver and Nick Lebrun had just over 16 lbs for first, and also second place big bass with one at 7.00

Maybe Paul will be by soon to post all of the results.

I can tell you that 71 teams were registered, but only 24 showed at the weigh-in.

Man, I was so tired I signed on and fell asleep before I was able to post anything. Whew. Well, I had a very bad day today and lost it for Todd and I. Todd carried us today and we ended up in 4th. By "Bad" day, I mean bad. I broke off a monster on 40lb braid. I then swapped the line out with 20lb Stren. Heck, I broke again on a hookset later in the day. I managed to put a 13incher in the boat to compliment the hawgs Todd was boating. We both caught some slots also. It was our first check of the year and we've improved every tourny. I'm happy with that. BTW- We weighed 3 fish for 10-9.

Hey way to Go Team KaRu!    :toot:

I know you have to be shot Paul, what with the night shift duty and working the boat show all weekend and then Fishing hard today.

Congratulations Bud, we all lose fish so don't let it get you down; as you said you guys just keep getting better.   ~c~

Thanks guy's and yes, I would do it all over again. I had a blast this weekend. I have a bad problem with breaking fish off. I had a hard time shaking it off today. I never got over that one and it effected me all day. Todd did a good job getting me lined back out but I never really recovered. That was probably the biggest bass I have ever hooked. O'well. I know how to fix my problem. I need to loosen up on the drag a little and easy up on my "cross their eye's" mentality. But I'm hard headed. I spoke to Nick LeBruin for awhile after the weigh in. He told me that a few people are having problem with breaking off on the power pro braid. I'm switching to either the Stren Super Braid, or back to mono.

skeeter170

I felt bad for that last team that came in too late.  They had some Hawgs!!!!

Todd

We had a blast. There was a great turn out for the tournament. Congrats to Paul Keith for putting together a great tournament. ~c~. Beagle, don't let the break off's get you down, thats part of it, all you have to do is adjust and "Keep pounding"!!!

BIG PAPA

Paul ,Todd where did ya'll fish?

Beagle

Well Papa. We did go to Caddo but, these are Todds spots and I would hate to stab him on those. I hope you understand. If it was something I would have found. I'd tell you in a heartbeat.

Good job Paul.

BTW my step son was your fathers nurse at Willis and he said that you might know some one looking for a good boat.  PM me if you do.
