Spit-N-King Mods

I picked up a Strike king Spit-N-King in the "woops"y Shad Color. I like the color alot but it needed a couple things.

 These are Really easy to do I just thought I would post them anyway.

 What i did was get a Red trebble hook for the front and a red Spike It marker.


First thing
The cup of the popper was white so I took the Marker and colored it red.


I also put some red on the bottom and the Gill Plates.

Then I took the front trebble off and put on the red one.

 I know its not much but sometimes its the little things that count.

I sand and modify all of my Pop-r's.

I love to tinker around with sharpies.  I have "repainted" lucky craft and megabass lures.
I'm finding that if a lure doesn't work for me, nothing I do makes it more effective.
but it sure is fun.

Looks great!
I always change out my hooks on my poppers.
I either go one size larger and I definitely change out the rear for better quality hooks/feathers.
Man, I love poppers!!!
