Cross Lake Thursday Evening Tournaments (2008) - Dates, Rules, and Points

The Cross Lake Thursday evening tournaments have been scheduled.  The first tournament is Thursday, March 27, 2008.

There is a new sponsor this year - BAYOU OUTDOORS SUPERCENTER.  They are going to be offering larger prizes at each event and larger prizes at the end of the year championship.  We thank Travis Boating Center for their past years of support and still wish them the best.  Our tournaments will be added to CHAMPION BOATS DIAMOND PROGRAM.  The details of that, and all the rules will be available on our flier that can picked up from Bayou Outdoors after MARCH 1.

This years tournaments will be ran the same as last year.  You can start signing in at the Cross Lake Public Boat Launch at 4:15 pm and leave the ramp after you pay.  First cast will be at 5:15 pm and the weigh in time will be announced each day when you sign in.  CROSS LAKE IS OFF LIMITS THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT.  YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO FISH THE TOURNAMENT IF YOU HAVE FISHED CROSS LAKE EARLIER THAT DAY.  Other rules will be listed on the flier.  Entry fee is still $45.00 which includes Big Bass.

There will be a representative from the City of Shreveport inspecting boats and trailers for vegetation before you are allowed to launch your boat.  You will not be allowed to launch your boat in Cross lake if there is vegetation found on your boat or trailer.  Please make sure they are clean before you show up.
