Big Hill Lake Bass Fishing Reports

I know the fishing in the nothern part of the state has been tough.  Especially at Milford and some of the other lakes around.  Water is extremely high and dirty.

Fished Big Hill on saturday (6/24) and water temperature was 79-81.  Caught some fish on shaky head but nothing being of any great size.

mgd, I was there Sunday.  First spot west end of dam, caught an 18" smallie on a pop-r in first 5 minutes then..........................................................the rest of the morning.  Left at noon.

I've only gotten down there twice this year and both times have be dissapointing to say the least.  Going to be in SEK sunday thru thursday and hope to make it there a couple more times.  Congrats on the smallie.

Caught some fish last weekend on spinnerbaits and senkos. Fish really werent keying on any certain structure it seemed.  Alot of the hit were very aggressive.  Not many people out fishing this summer, myself included.  Surely somebody is sore mouthing a few.
