Gold Coast "Points Race"

If anyone finds out the point standings after the Naci tournament, please post.  There was too much drama at the weigh-in to even ask.

I don't know the actual points but I can tell you that you guys just took the lead by either 3 or 4 points.  That would put us in second.  The guys that were in third didn't even fish so they went way back and the Newmans, who took 3rd were 26 points behind us going into the tournament so no worries there either.  As a matter of fact the only points race going on is between us, you guys and maybe Mike and eric but we had them by 13 going in and they weighed 6 something just like everyone else so if they made up points it wasn't enough to make a big differnce.  All I can say is, if you guys win it that's awesome, 2 years in a row.  And for us well, we are making progress.  2004 5th, 2005 4th and 2006 probably at least 2nd unless we go fishless at Lopez.  Big cudos to Mike because he fished by himself at least 2-3 times at the beginning of the year and they're still in 3rd.  That's my take!

Yea, I think its cool having 3 vandenberg teams in contention two years in a row.  Lopez will still be a big tournament, 3 or 4 point lead is nothing going into that tournament.  Last year you guys smoked us in that final Lopez tournament. 

This year everyone has a month of practicing before the tournament so there should be some good weights.....
