I have an Eagle Fishmark 480 on the front deck that has condensation inside the lens...anyone else had this problem with a Lowrance/Eagle?

Any way to dry it out?

Think Eagle will do anything for me...It is not under warranty!

I had the same problem with an Eagle.  I took the dispaly off and let it dry.  That seemed to work, but it kept getting condensation in it and eventually just quit on me.  Oh, and I stepped on it....Don't think that helped.

I called Eagle planning to just find out how to dry it out & keep it from happening again. They asked how old it was  (4 or 5 years) then asked for a serial number on it so they could give me an RGA number...They said they would take care of it regardless of warranty!

Change of plans on this...

I called them back with a serial # & found out they are wanting $199 to fix it...not gonna happen!

I hear stories all the time about Lowrance stepping up to the plate all the time & taking care of non-warranty issues for their customers...guess I am not that lucky!  :bang ~rant
