Mike I like what I see! Only thing I would add: You're on Field Staff- SWL ops program, with SWL through ABA. You might want to add that under your ABA membership, or under sponsors.

Good luck fishing, and God Bless!

Mike I agree it looks great but add every trail you fish local, national, etc. Most companies I deal with have picked me up because I moved their products to the guys that are out on the water every weekend. I know in the past alot of smaller companies look for local guys to market his/her stuff and assist in getting the word out to the people who buy the baits. Also send your stuff to them in a folder and attach copies of all news related stuff you have been exposed to and pictures. Just my .02 hope that helps.

Michael, do you have any numbers you can throw at them. I know some of the ABA divisions are getting quit large. The one I fish has on average 80 people fishing each event and then the spectators at weigh in are tripple that. Also how big is your club?

Fishing is more than just a hobby

Need your opinion

1. In regard to putting tournament results on my resume; How far back do you go? Last years and current year results or do you go back two years plus current. What do you suggest.

2. What about time I when I zeroed in a tournament. Do I put it down as last place. For Example I fished 5 Federation tournaments came in 13th 7th 3rd 1st and zeroed . Do I include it or leave it out?

3. Do I include Open tournaments even though i am a co-angler and the weight is shared. One time I might not put my share of fish in the boat other times I put most of the fish in the boat.

Thank you for your input

Michael -

I'll let you know right off I don't have a resume and never have, however if I was going to prepare a resume I wouldn't want to bore my potential sponsor with more than one page of information on my fishing history.....even if I was a dominant angler.

When I say bore, I don't mean yours is boring or anyone else's is, but tackle companies see hundreds of resumes per week.  In those resumes anglers include their tournament placements.  Some do it for every tournament they've ever fished.  It can be long and broing to read especially when looking at hundreds.

So one page should be sufficient I would think.
