Costa Del Mar Fluid ILS or Fathom 580?

For those who have tried both. Is there a big difference between a regular Costa Del Mar and a 580? What areas is the 580 better in and does the 580 allow a person to see fish that otherwise maybe wouldn't be seen with a regular? Thanks

I dont think that the 580's allow you to see throught the water any better, but they make everything a whole lot sharper. I have three pairs, 2 normal and one pair with 580 lens ( blue mirrior) the 580' s were around 260 bucks but well worth it to me, the clarity of these glasses on a sunny day is crazy, I think that the normal I think 400's are nice but the 580's are worth it in my opinion.

Well I think I have it narrowed down now. Its either the Fluids with three lense set (Amber, Gray, and Vermillion) or the Fathom 580's in either Green or Blue mirror. Its going to be a hard decision.

Personally I would go with the Fathom with the 580 blue mirror or Green Mirror. My first choice is Blue lens, If you fish like me they are crazy to look through on a nice day, so go with those, and I promise that you will not be disapointed, Dont forget to get a pair of croakies for those glasses, so they dont fall off your head into water. Must protect those expensive glasses

I have a pair of the 580's with the Amber lens's. With out a doubt the best glasses I have worn. They are high dollar but to me worth every penny. I've let a guy borrow them to to see if they made a difference and shortly thereafter he ended up buying a pair. If you have the $$$ buy the 580's!!!!

Anyone have a link to the 580's ? Going to need a new pair of sunglasses soon.
