Finger nail clippers on an old duck call lanyard around the neck, keeps them handy for cutting fishing line. I also keep a pair on a snap, on a belt loop while fishing.

Good tip, I never go fishing without clippers...

Good tip. I just wish I could find some clippers that would cut braid better.

Gerber makes some nice light scissors for braid and they are only $2.99 a pair  ;)

Wow, that's cheap!  I used some *snip- Berkeley scissors, Power Pro recommends Fishkars child scissors.

I go with the cuticle scissors. they are small enough you can put them on a keyring right with the clipper. There good for getting in close for profesonal over runs too.

I like the retracable ones like these:

Just clip the heavy duty finger nail clipper to them.

I clip them onto my pants near my pocket. They are always there, never in the way and never get caught  in anything.

i keep at least 5 pair on the boat at all times plus a couple pair of the gerber scissors. doug

My gerber pliers have scissors in them and they cut braided like butter just have to put a small bit of tension on the line. So im assuming that the scissors they sell are excellent also. I know BassPro sells them.

Now I have to head to bass pro again for Gerber Sissors.  I have a feeling the bait monkey will be waiting for me - wish me luck lo

I've learned that nail clippers don't tolerate cutting line very well. They get pretty dull and can't cut. I went looking for a small pair of scissors and found an 80 cent pair in the crafts department at walmart. They even fold up.

(edit)
I thought I'd post a pic of what I'm using. They do get a little rusty though.

I bought a pair at Wal-Mart in the crafts section with titanium blades they are very sharp and cut through braid with ease.

I do, best thing since sliced bread. Schimano used to have one too, they worked better IMHO, but I can't find em locally anymore.

Gee, I forgot to mention.

I use a Spyderco sharpmaker knife sharpener on everything. The sharpening pieces are removable porcelain triangular rods, they can be used as a very nice file so to speak.

I had a pair (until they hit the water) of those clippers from rapala and sharpened em once in a while, they worked great on everything, including 7 strand leader material, except braids. Now I'm back to the standard ol nail clipper, but ain't complainin'.

Heck, I even sharpen my braid scissors, cuts the stuff like butter.

Nail clippers are the most handy thing you can have while fishing. My dad and grandpa can just bite the line and break it but i cant ever seem to do. So needless to day i dont leave home without some clips in the tacklebox.

I clip my nail cutters to the rope on the end of my net- that way I never misplace them...unless I misplace my net...
easy to find when your in a jam.

All I fish with is floro so I just use my teeth. I do have a pair of the clippers in the TB for those who fish with me and forget theres.
