Wheeler Lake Info...

i know this post is old but i have a club tourny coming up next month and its on wheeler, we are blasting off from the ramp at the park. i have never fished up there and was wondering in anyone could give me a few tips on where to fish and what to throw. and any dangerously shallow places i shouldnt be running lol . thanks

I fished a tourney there and we put in over at Ingalls Harbor.  The channel is marked well with the big bouys.  We ran from there to Wheeler Dam and it was marked all the way down.   As far as what to fish with, couldn't help you with that.  That was my first trip over there.
