Lake Walk In Water

Well, I did it again, came home empty handed    I was using a B&Dcustomlures stump thumper and at least got a good hit    I tried a watermelon colored frog, and live shiners and minnows. It was if the lake was empty or they saw me coming and hid 
The day was still a good one. Water got real choppy at the end of the day but I managed to make it half way back without flipping us over    Then I let the owner take over because it was just getting to rough for me. What a wild ride, got soaked and Im still riding the waves. whoa But any way this is a beautiful lake, lots of hidden spots where fish should be. Gators were singing their mating songs, and saw a Huge one just in front of us. I think I will try this lake again. As stated before there are many alcoves that are covered with tree stumps and reeds. Good hiding places for bass.. Must be, I couldnt get one

Sounds like a great trip, you are zeroing in on that monster bass it won't be long now. See all those little bass know that you are destin for a monster so they are holding back

Thanks you two, we are headed out tomorrow, but I think Ill let the guys go and I will sit with Bills wife by the pool.. if they come back with a bass, then I know its me      In fact Bill had 2 on the line but lost them before they got in the boat    and one had the NERVE to swim in front of me waving his tail fin at me
