i put a skirt above the little peice that the worm goes on and the eye so it wont move. then i put the worm on like regular and i end up with this

the worm makes it weedless and i fish it just like a regular shakey head on 8 or 10 lbs mono in clear water so far it has been deadly

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

Nice looking bait.  Spot Remover also sells that same head with a skirt already on it.  The drawback is that they don't offer but a few colors.  I like your custom alot better. I have made my own similar to that with ball head jigs with a 3/0 or 4/0 hook.  I just use about half the skirt as normal and a smaller collar.  This allows room for 4" zipper grub or trick worm to be rigged shakey head style on the jig.  The worm keeper on the jig holds the grub on there.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.
