:help: :help:I am coming home on leave ;D in June from Oversea's (only to have to come back over for another year) :( BUT, I am setting up a guide to go fishing with my father-in-law and I. Does anyone have some input on a particular guide?  This will be the first trip I take with a guide, any "rules of the road" suggestions?  I am really looking forward to ripping somw lips and have a good time for a few weeks before I have to come back!

THANKS FOR ANY INPUT!

There is a banner for a guide on our main site. His name is Jimmy Everett and he is a class act. I would highly recommend him. Also there is an article in the articles section that discribes our trip with him, it would give you some input on what you need.

If possible, I would try to plan your trip around June 4-12 on Fork. Those are the dates of the Skeeter Owners Tournament, and last year we had over 800 boats. If you are familure with Fork, you know it is not that big of a lake and with 800+ Skeeter Owners on it, it gets a little crowded.  Actual "T" dates are 9-12, but most godown early.

Just a heads up......I realize you will be on leave and not have much of a choice.

Give Rick Loomis a call. Loomis Lodge and guide service. He has some very nice rooms, however, call now. They are right, around skeeter tourney time, rooms become scarce. If you end up not able to find a room, give me a call and maybe I can help.
Rick's number is 903-383-3050  or e mail =
