My goal is to fish the Bama division Boater Side of the BFL next year. I currently have been fishing tournaments for the last 10 years.  I have been married 6 years and have a 2 1/2 year old daughter.  I am a Deputy Sheriff in Jefferson County, Alabama (Birmingham) and have been with the department 6 years.  I have worked corrections, patrol and I am now assigned to the School Resource Officer and teach classes to youth concerning drugs and gangs.  I am active in my church and my priorities are as follows.  God, Family, Work, Fishing and that order will remain that way.  I refuse to take up fishing as a career at this point in my life, not that I have been offered that or ever will, but I can't leave my wife and daughter at home to strike up a career that may never make it.  Then need a husband a father who are going to be there for them and provide a constant income.  What is my track record and what do I have to offer?  I have won a few, lost a lot, and placed in many.  I go out to win them all but the Lord picks and chooses my placing so I never get upset over not winning.  It just a blessing to be able to go out and fish.  I have a lot to offer a company, like knowing how to talk to people and large groups (taught classes to large numbers of kids).  I also care a lot about how I carry myself on and off the water.  I try to project a positive image everywhere I go. I am also willing to learn as much as I can about a sponsor and the products they offer but I would like to try the lures before agreeing to anything.  If I do represent a company I want it to be a company that I believe so that I can give it 100%.  I also am very particular about the cleanliness of my boat and truck.  Wiping my boat down and spray waxing it as soon as it is pulled of the water.  Take care of it and it will take care of you is what I say.  I am willing to help a company as much as I can and promote them in the most positive way that I can.  I am willing to do what it takes.  I am also a personal fitness trainer and have been for the last 6 years, just thought I would throw that in there.

To be quite frank I read this more as a personal life belief system than a resume.  Don't get me wrong, I am sincerely in favor of having strong beliefs, however I think it might benefit you to view some of the other resume examples before you take any other steps.  If you want to.
