I have read a lot about using Orings for rigging Senko's Whacky and something kept telling me I didn't need to go buy any orings at the hardware store.  Then it hit me,  I went down to our friendly orthodontist and asked him if I could buy a bag of those rubber bands that they use for braces.  He asked what for and when I told him he laughed and told me that he'd been doing this for a long time.

Just a thought but it works like a charm.

Not sure, it would all depend on the thickness of the worm, don't want it too tight as it might cut through and too loose will slip off. I'd say take the worm you want to use to a hardware store and get one that you are happy with.  :-*

Our own sponsor, BandDcustomlures sells these and I have bought 2 of them from him, one as a gift and the other for myself. check it out at:

Given the opportunity I will always search our sponsors first, they support this site for us.
Granted they may be  dollar more, but it's worth the buck to support our sponsors.

In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.

well thats we have such great members...I didn't even know B&D sold them..I bought mine a number of years so I haven't looked for a new one...I would always buy from a sponsor first but either way you have to admit its a pretty cool tool!

Neat idea...might have to get one myself.

I've got one that I came across about four years ago, same design but made of plastic.
It's definatley a handy tool.

guys as far as the tool goes...you can use a slightly fat screw together pen...take it apart take the spring and ink part out and slide the "senko" up into the pen half and slide the o-ring over the pen!!

as far as the o-ring...you can get small little kid hair bands ( iget them in clear) and double them over and they work great!

i'll post pics of how the pen works later tonight when i'm home

no need to try and find the little rubber bands. You can find thewright size o rings in the plumbing department of the harware store. :-*

THe fat ink pen is ok but you have to store the o rings somewhere. With the tool design you have them on the small shaft no fumbling.

GotstaFish

I've used a split ring for this, no damage to the worm fish after fish  ;)

bass1cpr

That would be a size 6 split ring for the five inch Senkos.  ;)
