You can add pictures to your posts in one of three ways.
Updated 1/15/06

1. After hitting the reply button, while in the Post Reply Screen you can look at the bottom of the input area for Additional Options. Click on the link provided and it will drop down a list of options available to you. To add a picture from your computer (upload it to Ultimate Bass as an attachment) all you need to do is click on the browse button and find the file located on your computer. Once you have found it, select it by clicking on it and then click Open.

NOTE: To upload as an attachment your photo must meet the Maximum size limit of 192KB or less per post. You are allowed 4 attachments and the total file size must be below the limit. Also the picture size in pixles must be no more than 400 x 400.
Not Available

2. If you have a photo that is hosted on the internet already you can use the BB Code buttons at the top of the Post Reply Screen to add your image. All you need to do is click on the Image Button ( ) and then paiste the location of your photo "between" the two bits of code.

Note: To find the location of your photo that is stored on the internet go to your picture. Put your mouse over the picture and right click. You will want to select "properties". That will show you the location of your photo. You can use your mouse to highlight the properties and then just paste that between the code shown above.

3. You are also welcome to use the Ultimate Bass Gallery. If you are a Charter Member you are entitled to your own Album where you can store you pictures seperate from all the others. If you are not a Charter Member you can upload your photos to one of the Member Submissions Albums that are available on the main page of the Gallery. Once you have uploaded your picture to the gallery you will need to follow the directions in #2 above.

Note: For specific directions on uploading your photos to the Gallery check out this -> Link

I hope that helps with your questions about how to add pictures or photos to your posts.

Bass1 I think we should leave it there :) It will give some hope to the folks that are having trouble and they will at least know that it is possible. Great Photo!

Laurie, better tell folks about the photo file SIZE limitation. It's a little frustrating to write great "blurb" and then have ditched when the photo is too big...Ya gotta re-write it.
I'm never as clever the second time as I am on the first pass!
