Well, being as I just tried 15 times to post and it never took...I will cover several of the lakes in one post and maybe it will go thru.

By the way...we thought of this while fishing Saturday night...but that is a different fishing and a different story.

Cross Lake, Shreveport, LA.  I don't think it was mentioned yet.  Fish it all year long, but love it in summer.  Spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, torpedo's, pop-r's, and my special colored worm.  Grass, cypress trees, and boat docks are the ticket.

Lake St. John, Ferriday, LA.  On the Louisiana/Mississippi border, just north of Natchez, MS.  Favorite time is spring, summer and fall....spinnerbaits, worms, and smokey joe bandits on sea walls.  It is an oxbow.

Lake Bruin, St. Joseph, LA.  About 45 minutes north of Lake St. John.  Summer and fall.  Buzzbaits and spinnerbaits around grass, and worms on docks and cypress trees.  Also an oxbow.

Lake Larto, Jonesville, LA.  About 20 minutes west of Lake St. John.  Spring and summer.  Spinnerbaits and worms on cypress trees, especially around the island.

Lake Maurepas, just southeast of Baton Rouge.  Huge lake.  Buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and worms around grass and cypress trees.  Also, feeder rivers for the lake...Amite, Blood, Blind, Tickfaw Rivers.

Lake DeGray, Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  Very deep in places.  Worms and spinnerbaits around grass...on islands in the lake.  Could try deep water drop shooting in the 100 plus feet deep places.  lo

Lake Concordia, Vidalia, LA.  Just south of Lake St. John.  Grassy lake with cypress trees.  Also boat docks.  Top water and spinnerbaits, worms...summer.

Okay, now I can see how long it takes to get this posted....I have been trying to post for over 25 minutes...and you think 8 tries is bad fishaholic....try 0.  I will get it in even though the contest is over.
