And I on the other hand, am not impressed with it.  I built a spinnerbait rod for the president of Secret Weapon Lures.  He was showing me a prototype spinnerbait and had me throw it on the rod I built for him.

Now, with this rod (I built one for myself), I could normally feel every pulse and throb of the blade.  With this rod, spooled with Cajun Red, I couldn't feel a darned thing!  Then, to make matters worse, a pike hit the lure and when I set the hook, there was so much stretch in the line, I bounced the reel off my chest!   :bang

I didn't care for it.

You are the second person that I heard complaining about the stretch. I haven't had a problem with it. In fact this past weekend I launched a 12 inch fish about 50 ft on the hook set and that was with 10lb test on a medium action spinning rod. As far as I know Cajun Red makes two lines. One is limp with very low memory and the other is stiff with horrible memory. Is there another one I don't know about?
