Whatcha Think About My New Setups???

OK. So after much hassle and agonizing over rod choices at the local BPS, they finally "made it right". Here's what I ended up with...what do you guys think....honestly! 

All rods are BPS Pro Qualifiers:

Spinnerbait-6'6" M Baitcast with Shimano Chronarch B
Crankbait/Jerkbait-6'6" M Baitcast with Shimano Citica
Worm/Carolina-7' MH Baitcast with BPS Extreme reel
All Purpose/Soft Plastics-6'6" MH Spinning with Shimano Sedona
Light cranks/jerks-7' M Spinning with Shimano Sedona

The reason I went with so many medium action rods is they "feel" like most medium/heavy rods...that, and they didn't have any 6'6" MH BC.

Looks like some real nice combos right there.  I think you should do well with those.     It's all about the feel, and since you did the work to find which ones feel right, you will tear them up.     Let us know how they work out.

Thanx CLZ!  I got to use the new rigs this weekend, and MAN are these rods sensitive!  The river was still a bit chilly (45-48 degrees) so the smallie bite was scarce and VERY slight, but I felt every bite I got!

HOWEVER...I'm thinking about swapping the 6'6" medium baitcasters for MH rods instead.  The mediums seem like they have plenty of backbone, but the tips are a concern for lures heavier than 5/8oz.  In the store, the mediums felt stiffer than they really are.  Hopefully, BPS will let me exchange 'em since it was just last week when I got 'em.

I would agree, if you are chucking a 1 oz spinnerbait you probably want to bump it up to a MH.  It sure is nice to have some good rods to feel everything going on though...
