Coming down to Barksdale

My son is getting stationed at Barksdale end of Feb.
I will be driving his truck and boat down around that time. What are some must hit lakes in the area if I have 3 days to fish? Coming from the frozen north, Mn.

You for sure should hit Caddo Lake and Black Bayou Hosston.

Of course weather is going to be a big factor on how well the fishing is, but if there has been a couple day warming trend it will be awesome.
