Hydraulic Steering Locks

I saw this a long time ago on scwildbill's boat, and love the idea.

If you have hydraulic steering and don't use a motor toter when trailering, here is something cool to use to keep your motor straight and not twisting. Get a short piece of 3/4" schedule 40 PVC and measure it to fit on either side of your steering pistons with the motor straight. Mark and cut the PVC into 2 sections, and then cut slots in the 2 pieces of PVC, so it slips on snugly to the rams. No more more twisting going down the road and looks cleaner than a bungee cord hooked around the wheel. It only costs about $1.00.
