well for our first trip over there we had a terrible time.  we got to the ramp at 9:00 this morning and unloaded the boat and I was pulling up at the dock and my wife thought she could try to stop the boat with her hands to keep it from bumping the dock and smashed her finger between the trolling motor and the dock. So we loaded everything up and drove to the ER and at first they said they may have to cut it off because it was smashed so bad. Finially they decided the could just sew it up and sent us on our way. Well we got back to the ramp about 1:00 and fished till about 5:00 and did not get any bites. Think we are going back about the first of next month when they start moving up on the beds. Looks like a great sight fishing lake. Water temp today was 46

I am so sorry to hear about your wife! Dang, that is bad. I have smashed my fingers on docks and everything else a boat can hit. I haven't fished many lakes in Ar. but I sure want to. I haven't been bass fishing very long but I grew up here on Lake Dardanelle and have been fishing all of my life.
Tell your wife I hope her finger heals quickly.
Good luck on your next outing!
