If you are like me, you like to fish the slop. Everytime I bury my boat in the thick stuff I get a low water pressure situation from all the duckwart and slop that gets picked up by the water intake. To clear the intake just put your boat in reverse and gun it!! This will in most instances clear the intake from the sudden backwash and you won't have to shut down and tilt the motor up to clear it by hand.

Good tip, something I do quite a bit and didn't think to put it here ::) We do so many things with out thinking about it, WTG Gotstafish - gotta run threw my routines and see what else I do that would be a good tip ;)

very good tip, I do the same thing guys and it works better than anything else I tried. It also works when trying to get the intake pump to prime for the wells.
