Anyone build their own rods?

Just wonderin' if anyone builds their own, I'm gonna start buildin' mine and forget about buyin' them ;PEP)

Yep, I've been building rods for myself and others for over a decade now.  You won't find a single factory rod in either rod locker in my FastCat.

It's a great way to increase the quality of the rods you fish with and not spend as much for a rod as you would for a factory built model.

Yessir, I'm workin' on findin' a blank for a frog rod to throw topwater frogs. Might start building tomorrow, I plan to replace all my rods with personal built customs ~shade

I am building new rods for myself this year. I am re-doing a quantum tour edition 6'6" MH that was misalligned. the guides were a quarter off the spine, so I took them off along with the reel seat and am re-building the rod the right way. I am building my new set on rainshadow rx8 blanks with split grips and single foot fuji TICH guides, plus fuji reel seats. this is an addictive hobby, but you get to go fish with 'em when you're done. good luck with it, maybe you'll get a business going building for other people.
