Looking for honest opinions

I'm in the market for a new boat and the Blazer is one that I'd like to look at. I love the numbers that I'm seeing for speed, but know nothing about ride, fishability, and livewell size. Any info would be great. This is what I'm looking at.
06 Blazer 202 with 06 225 Evinrude H.O. E-tec, 29" TXP and 30" TXP, 15" jackplate, MinnKota Maxxum Pro 80# w/Lift Assist, LMS 332C GPS/sonar in console, X125 at bow. Dual console, and 2 x 10 charger for $30,000.

The numbers for speed are incredible.
The front deck is too small.
If you ever plan to ride in rough water......forget the Blazer
If you want to pass everyone on the lake get the Blazer.

Blazers are fast and if that is all you are worried about then it is a good choice and you won't beat the speed for the price ranges. Gambler, Allison and bullets will be faster but they are much more pricey. I spent quite a bit of time looking at a blazer and just don't like the small decks and the storage is alright but the battery access and pump access is nearly impossible. The layout for the mechanical stuff is very hard to work with. If you plan to keep it over time you will eventually have to work on things and the blazer makes that difficult.

If it's all about being the fastest boat on the water when there is just a slight breeze then you have a good chance with a blazer.

Miles, You need a road trip so come on back down when you get ready for a boat and some fishing and I'll put you in as many Blazers as you want, 20', 21', Don't matter and it will be on the St.Johns where a boats got to be tough! Can't help you with the E-Tec though. You'll find out what can handle it and probablly won't see many of the experts brand of boats on the river!

I don't sell boats but a Blazer will sell itself!

At 6' and 350 lb's my 21'er has plenty of deck space and the deck is only a few inches longer than the 20'er.

To be honest I have never been in a 21 foot blazer, TeamFATBOY can you fish two guys comfortable on it?

There's about 6" differance in interior space between the 20'er and the 21'er. You can fish two people off the front deck of a 20'er with room to spare and land a hellicopter on the deck of the 21'er!

We have quite a few blazers here in Louisiana, most of them are the 18 footers because the access the timber and cypress trees easier so I don't have experience with the larger models, but a helicopter now that will work.

BTW, the reason most of the guys like the blazers around here is the speed of course but the low water draft while fishing is the major second reason. Around here you got to get into some really skinny water and the blazer will definitely get you there.

Steve, looks like I'll be back in the south in October so we'll have to hook up then. No Blazer dealers in the north east anyway.
