Black Bayou Benton Bass Fishing Report - 7/07/06

Fished Black Bayou this morning from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and caught 8...7 slots and 1 under.  All the fish came on a Pop-R.  Once the sun got up high, shady banks were the best.  Flipped a worm on a few docks...only one hit, but no hookup.  Water temps were 83-84.  The wind was kicking again this morning. 

As I was leaving the launch at about 11:00 a.m., an air boat was being launched.  It had a large tank in the floor area (middle of boat) and they seemed to be loading some gallon containers of something.  From the launch, they headed up the toward the small end of the lake.  Wonder if and what they are spraying.
