Fished Cross this morning from about 6:30 a.m. to noon.  Only caught 2, both slots.  The gar are extremely hungry these days...wanted to try and eat everything I was throwing.  Didn't check the water temps...the wind was blowing pretty good so that restricted me to only certain areas.  The hydrilla is growing WELL.  Caught one of the fish on topwater and the other on a worm.  I think I ruled out some areas, but other areas hold possibilities.  Not much of a report...not much too report.  :'(

I think I'm taking my Pop-R and going to Black Bayou in the morning.  ;D

Clint and I went this evening from about 6pm to 8:30 pm. Had a few strikes, but nothing solid. The moss and hydrilla are really limiting access. I guess that's what you get with a average depth of 3-5 ft. Don't really know what to do or were to go next. I think it's starting to turn into cross lake's "luckiest man" tournament these days.
