I haven't officially shared this yet, but I figure I can make my official announcement here.  :)

In addition to a Power Pole Move, I also went ahead and pulled the trigger on a complete electrical over haul on the Vexus.

The picture above is just a sample, since the main electrical panel has not been completed yet.

I decided to overhaul all my electrical toggle switches due to an incident I had a couple of months ago. When one of my trim toggle switches went bad on me on an outing. The outboard seemed possessed and had of mind of its own.  lo

Needless to say, my outing was canceled. I had a lengthy conversation with my boat tech after he diagnosed what the problem was and it made complete sense to over haul all my toggle switches with better top of the line toggle switches.

Not only will all the toggle switches be new, but my fuse panel and fuse system will also be new. The new fuse system will be much easier to access, and if I ever need to replace a fuse in the future, it will be much, much, easier to change versus the old system.

I know this type of upgrade is not as glamorous as buying new fishing graphs and such. But trust me, you don't want be dealing with an electrical issue when your on the water.

I will share photos of what was done when the job is complete.

Thanks for reading.

Great decision Lou! You might consider sharing the electrical shortcomings and upgrades with Vexus. Maybe they'll incorporate them in future models.

Thanks Jim. True, but work like this will raise prices.

Here's the completed job! I went ahead and swapped out all my toggle switches to push buttons.

The PP Move handheld remote needed it's own electrical connection for charging and downloading updates.

And here's the fuse box I mentioned yesterday. This system is now much easier to access and fuses are simple to remove.

Lou, congrats on the Upgrade  ~c~   It all looks nice and clean.  You do this upgrade yourself or did you have the dealership do it?

Thank you Donald. My mobile boat tech Eddie, from atomic marine service, did the electrical installation.

Eddie did a Great Job.  So how's that New Trolling motor working out for ya?

That turned out nice Lou. I need to do this to mine. My switches are ok but my bilge is kind of a mess, and I would like to put another fuse block in. I put one up front for my Livescope, but I need one in the bilge or console area for stuff that is closer to the rear of the boat. Right now I have a bunch of inline fuses, which I hate.
