Unbeknownst to me, I was sent this New HB frog as a Christmas gift from a good friend and well known UB member. I will share his name after I put this frog through its paces.  ~shhh  ;)

The new frog is called the Swamp Lord and its from Berkley. I have heard about this HB frog and its very popular.

Once I put this frog through a thorough Everglades test, I will return to this thread and report my findings.  ~bb

one aspect of frog fishing is the ability to bomb very long casts.  these big old bass get pretty smart.

the weight of this frog is conducive to longer casts.  have a few in my boat as well Lou.

I used this frog for a little while the other day. It does launch well, that's for sure but so do other HB frogs.

I'm liking the popping version of the Swamp Lord so far. It's a very soft frog.

How's the frog holding up to the hooksets? Is it tearing anywhere?

I've probably got 10 or 15 fish on it including a couple of 5 pounders and no rips yet.
