  Well, due to recent weather, the water has been a bit high at the Refuge, so decided to try something a little different. A 7' M action Dobyns Fury spinning rod w/6lb test and a "baby spook" from Strike King. Was trying to target some of the bigger panfish, but got small peacock after peacock, a few small bass and a few "gills" and other panfish. Caught one nice peacock that was a FUN fight on light tackle too.

Thanks. I know a LOT of guys look down on me for using UL-L tackle and line all the time but there's no denying that Peas are FUN on it.

Top, congrats on a very successful outing there.  Those are some beautiful fish there.
